About The Position

PCSI is seeking a Supply Clerk to join our team at Fort Knox, KY. This role involves performing building inspections, managing key check-out/check-in processes, understanding key locations and rules, and utilizing DA Forms for issuing buildings and property. The position reports to the Cadet Command Supervisor and is part of the Cadet Command Fort Knox Kentucky TFM contract. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with potential for adjusted schedules, overtime, and weekend work to support annual events. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of related experience with the ability to perform the assigned duties
  • Working knowledge of and operation of Windows applications, including MS Office
  • Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening
  • Ability to be issued and maintain a CAC issued by the government
  • Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
  • If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s)

Responsibilities

  • Perform building inspections
  • Understand the process of checking keys out and signing them back in, including key locations and issue/turn-in rules
  • Use DA Forms (DA 5513, DA 2062, FK 185) to issue buildings and property
  • Be familiar with the locations of all barracks facilities (1400 block, 6500 block, Disney complex, and 2300 block)
  • Categorize service orders into ArMA, submitting required information such as alternate POCs, appliance serial numbers, and correct labor codes for Cadet Command
  • Conduct inventories of keys and equipment, including semiannual and quarterly inventories
  • Maintain property hand receipts
  • Secure signatures for any items issued
  • Support Cadet Summer Training by logging work orders from multiple portals, phone calls, drop-off requests, and e-mailed requests
  • Understand and utilize the G4 portal, monitoring it year-round and actioning/submitting service orders into ArMA
  • Professionally answer, forward, and make phone calls, taking messages with the 5 W's
  • Monitor and update HVAC, submitting new service requests after verifying they are not already open and active
  • Expand normal duty hours to support initiatives like Terrain Walk, Ranger Challenge, Raider Challenge, ROC Drill, Mission Command Workshop, National Drill Championships, and last-minute EUSS support
  • Inventory buildings of all furnishings before and after each issue
  • Update barracks tracker on all upcoming building occupancies
  • Issue PT track out, update PT tracker ensuring it is not overbooked, inventory PT tracker keys, and inspect PT track and surrounding area after each issue before receiving keys back
  • Walk buildings and inspect for mold, broken fixtures, and other facility issues needing immediate assistance
  • Issue alternate accommodations when an area has urgent maintenance issues
  • Update lead on urgent matters
  • Issue/program key cards (average 1300 per building per week) using different software for different building blocks
  • Be familiar with and willing to learn how to reprogram key card doors
  • Work with lead and Production Control Clerk when elevating service orders
  • Quickly navigate Excel and find information when asked, and scrub the work order log when work orders are complete
  • Learn which buildings are available to maintenance and which require advance coordination before work is performed
  • Work independently and with a team to accomplish daily tasks
  • Be familiar with building walk-throughs and the correct submission process
  • Contact HVAC before issuing any barracks to ensure hot water temperatures are set
  • Perform other duties as assigned
