The Supply Chain Training Manager is responsible for owning all warehouse training for new Selectors & Drivers during their first 90 days of employment. This role leads a team of Trainers and New Hires through a multi-week onboarding period, focusing on indicators such as productivity, quality, reliability, safety, culture integration, job knowledge, and retention. The manager directs and coordinates all aspects of onboarding and training, including scheduling resources, conducting classroom and floor training, performing observations, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on processes and milestones, and tracking metrics. They provide actionable performance and behavioral feedback, facilitate mentoring, and analyze performance data to ensure expectations are met. The role also involves collecting data for continuous improvement of the training program, serving as a point of contact for Field Market Trainers, ensuring associates follow preferred plays and meet productivity goals, and partnering with various stakeholders to monitor progress and identify coaching opportunities. Additionally, the manager reports performance and retention data, makes training recommendations, and may consult on the interview and hiring process. They are also responsible for inspecting the facility for safety hazards and jointly accountable for maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment.
