About The Position

The Supply Chain Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering Global Strategic Sourcing training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of employees and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain, a deep understanding of supply chain curricula, and proven expertise in managing large-scale projects. This role will consult and lead project teams to effectively shape and apply the training strategy, approach, roadmap, tools, and templates to sourcing-specific learning programs.

Requirements

Own the end-to-end learning development for specific sourcing programs.
Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others without direct authority.
Must be capable of working on multiple priorities in a fast-paced, self-directed, and changing environment.
Ability to simplify complex Sourcing concepts for diverse audiences.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Rise 360 and familiar with AI applications.
Bachelor’s degree in training and development, Supply Chain / Sourcing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate training and development.
Proven record of leading and managing large projects.

Nice To Haves

Extensive experience in designing and implementing training programs for Supply Chain / Sourcing teams is highly desirable.
Experience with powersports or automotive fields training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver Global Strategic Sourcing training programs for various levels of sourcing leaders, managers, employees and suppliers.
Conduct training needs analysis to identify skills gaps and training requirements.
Design and implement training programs that align with industry standards and sourcing academic advancements.
Lead large-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Present training programs focused on adult learning using various forms and formats including e-learning modules, group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements.
Establish global relationships and partnerships with both internal business teams and external learning organizations, to increase the effectiveness of sourcing / supply chain learning initiatives.
Manage and optimize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), ensuring accurate delivery and tracking of all training initiatives.
Maintain and update training pathways, content collections, and resource centers (e.g., SharePoint), ensuring relevance and accessibility.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide operational consulting to departments on leveraging learning systems for effective business processes.
Coordinate and communicate effectively across global sourcing teams using multiple communication tools and technology.
Foster a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes.
Provide recommendations for enhancements based on feedback and data analysis, escalating strategic decisions to the Learning and Development Manager.
