About The Position

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Technical Product Manager focused on supply chain technology to help execute the product vision and strategy for its fleet maintenance supply chain platform. The role partners with the Supply Chain organization to translate operational needs into a product roadmap that improves efficiency and user satisfaction, supporting the parts and inventory programs technicians use every day. The position works closely with business and technology development teams and directly supports Supply Chain as an individual contributor. It reports to the SVP of Software Development. The role drives technology solutions across automotive parts catalogs, parts inventory processes, vendor management, and parts purchasing. It includes gathering user feedback, defining and prioritizing product requirements, managing the roadmap and development lifecycle, testing and launching features, training users, supporting adoption, and monitoring product performance. The Product Manager will also identify software technologies and opportunities to apply AI to supply chain needs. The position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, follows a hybrid work schedule, and requires approximately 20% travel to shops in the United States and Canada. Compensation is $145,000–$165,000 annually, depending on experience, with weekly pay.

Requirements

At least 5 years of Supply Chain experience in a mid-size to large environment.
Proven ability to translate user feedback into product requirements and specifications.
Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps and prioritize competing initiatives.
Strong collaboration skills with technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with the full product development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, launch, and support.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Technical literacy and comfort with web applications; deep technical knowledge is not required.
BA/BS degree in a technology-related field.
Willingness to travel approximately 20% to shops in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

Drive technology solutions for automotive parts catalog, parts inventory processes, vendor management, and parts purchasing.
Partner with the Supply Chain organization to understand needs and develop technology solutions that automate manual processes.
Drive technology improvement programs throughout the Supply Chain organization.
Conduct feedback sessions with corporate Supply Chain employees and technicians to identify pain points, feature requests, and workflow challenges.
Build relationships with Supply Chain and operations leaders and supervisors to understand team needs and operational priorities.
Document and prioritize user feedback into product requirements and develop a product roadmap.
Work with developers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Lead user acceptance testing and validate that completed features meet user needs.
Identify suitable software technologies for supply chain functions, including opportunities to incorporate AI.
Manage communications and rollout of new features.
Own training content and materials for new product features and capabilities.
Support updates to encourage technician adoption and minimize disruption.
Monitor product usage metrics and ongoing feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
Serve as the primary support resource for escalated product questions or issues.
Identify and champion quick wins that improve Supply Chain efficiency.
Collaborate with AI specialists to develop AI solutions for supply chain processes.
