About The Position

Under the direction of Supply Chain Leadership, the Supply Chain Technician supports the health care delivery system through supply and equipment ordering, receipt, distribution, and maintenance of associated inventories. The role provides high levels of service to internal and external customers to help ensure continued availability of supplies and equipment required for patient care. Other duties may be assigned. This is an onsite position at Froedtert West Bend Hospital in West Bend, Wisconsin. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating holidays and every seventh weekend.

Requirements

Ability to interact well with others and provide high levels of customer service.
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to make decisions that directly affect patient care.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to use commonly associated warehouse shipping and receiving equipment, including forklifts/trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, wheeled hand trucks, dollies, and balers.
Ability to use IT equipment such as RF devices, computers, printers, and copy machines.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of supply chain or related experience in a computerized environment.
Previous healthcare experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
