The UW Medicine Supply Chain Management department enhances patient care by providing a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and specialized supply chain management expertise.
Requirements
- High school graduation and six months of supply chain experience.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital.
- Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems.
- Use technology like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations.
