About The Position

DPP is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry. This role provides technical, tactical, and execution support within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process, primarily focusing on Supply Chain Manufacturing, Supply Chain Logistics, and Supply Chain Business Operations. The position involves the manual movement, shipping, and receiving of materials, as well as administrative and technical support for the Engineering Property System, Supply Chain Logistics, and Supply Chain Operations. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, moving, shipping, and disbursing materials and equipment, utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, and computer systems for data processing and maintenance. The role also involves verifying material quantities and conformance, preparing shipping records, and delivering assembled kits to the shop floor.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year additional education and/or related experience.
  • Ability to work in Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP S4 Goods Issuing and Goods Receiving
  • Excellent communication skills dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Advance experience in SAP S4 Goods Issue and Good Receiving transactions
  • Must know how to read Stores Pick Tickets
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain processes
  • Forklift/Reach lift experience

Responsibilities

  • Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
  • Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.
  • Primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
  • Provides administrative, technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily Engineering Property System, Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations.
  • Primarily responsible for the manual receiving, storage, movement or shipping, and disbursement of materials and equipment.
  • Will perform a combination of manual and clerical duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, as well as computers and various application to process and maintain data.
  • Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations.
  • Pull and assemble kits in accordance with schedules and deliver to shop floor.
