About The Position

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is hiring a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator Level 3 in Magna, Utah. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. The coordinator works closely with production planning and manufacturing to ensure materials and planning are available for production. The role includes closing work orders, ordering and picking materials for the factory floor, and coordinating product movement across the value stream. The schedule is a standard four-day, 10-hour schedule, with Monday through Thursday given as an example. Travel is 10% of the time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of inventory and operations support experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality basics, property, and engineering flows.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively.
• Skills and qualifications include MRP systems, property systems, mobile application systems, and forklift abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with MRP systems.
• Knowledge of and applicable experience with lean principles.
• Experience tracking and reporting status.
• Personal drive for process improvements.
• Local to the State of Utah.

Responsibilities

• Use MRP to close work orders and pick material from Stores.
• Advise management, planners, and factory schedulers of production status, and escalate problems to ensure labor, tools, equipment, and services are provided as needed.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure parts are delivered on time.
• Work within the department to ensure supporting documents are available before production.
• Coordinate product movement across the value stream.
