Supply Chain Supervisor
About The Position
KELK Canada (Vishay Precision Group) is a global leader in advanced force measurement and optical instrumentation, serving the metals industry for nearly 70 years. We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Supply Chain Supervisor to support our Logistics team at our North York site. This role is responsible for ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory levels, and aligning demand, production, procurement, and logistics activities. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, improving planning processes, and building a high-performing team that supports business growth. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who enjoys fast-paced logistics environments, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or logistics operations
- 2+ years of experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong ERP/MRP system experience (Syspro 8 is an asset)
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with planning tools

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply planning activities to ensure consistent product availability
- Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply and production plans
- Maintain optimal inventory levels while achieving target service levels
- Identify root causes of supply or inventory gaps and implement corrective actions
- Partner closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance teams
- Support new product introductions (NPI) to ensure supply readiness and smooth launches
- Communicate risks, constraints, and mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders
- Track and improve key performance metrics (service levels, inventory turns, forecast alignment)
- Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements, automation, and system optimization
- Lead and develop a team, fostering accountability, ownership, and high performance
