About The Position

Boeing Global Services, Government Services Business is looking for an Associate or Experienced Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in Hazelwood, MO. The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Customer Pre-Award Team has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist position to support the BGS Government Services business. The selected candidate will contribute to new customer proposal/PPOA activities by providing Supply Chain support to BGS stakeholder partners to enable deal quality and flawless execution for Bomber & Fighter, U.S. Navy, International, and Commercial Derivative programs.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience
• 1+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 1+ years of experience in leading supporting project or program proposals
• 1+ years of experience in supporting cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or other related field
• 1+ years’ experience with PBOM reviews
• 1+ years’ experience supporting New Business
• 1+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives (this would be a preferred qualification on a level 2)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary focal point and external spokesperson for Supply Chain regarding proposal-related matters
• Oversee and coordinate the development of supply chain plans to meet the requirements of individual proposals
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure strong financial performance and timely delivery
• Identify opportunities within the BGS Supply Chain and develop innovative solutions to complex problems that align with program and customer objectives
• Cultivate and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, contracts, engineering, estimating, supplier management, and other support functions
• Utilize primary systems and tools, including SCARS, SMPP, EPIC, Cognos, ESGP tool, and Microsoft Excel, to support supply chain activities
