This position is responsible for significant Systems & Equipment Tier 1 supplier(s) and is accountable for ensuring on time delivery and on quality of equipment & systems for Airbus Aircraft. The overseas Supply Chain Quality manager is in daily contact with suppliers, their wider supply chain management team, and internal customers (located in North America and Europe). They draw on their past expertise in Industrial, Quality & Operations Management and strong relationship building skills to problem-solve and proactively mitigate Supply Chain issues and drive supplier performance and rate readiness. The nature of the job requires a high level of autonomy and a strong level of soft skills including communication.
