About The Position

As a Supply Chain Product Lifecycle Management Project Lead (PLM PL) within the ASML Strategic Sourcing and Procurement sector (SS&P), you will make a real difference by driving the introduction and industrialization of ASML’s products within the triple constraint from the project plan, operating throughout the full product lifecycle. You are responsible to realize the project supply chain deliverables, from project plan to final delivery, that will support the business case of the overall program. To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, creative, and people skills to lead and coordinate natural teams both at ASML and at suppliers.

Requirements

  • Technical or Supply Chain Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years work-experience with a minimum of 2 years in Supply Chain or Project Management, preferably in a high-tech industry
  • Experience in interfacing with suppliers preferred
  • Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) preferred
  • Experience in out-of-the-box creative problem solving
  • Highly organized, capable to drive complex issues to simple and pragmatic solutions
  • Influencing without formal authority, sense for tactical and political relations on both strategic and operational level
  • Ability to establish and effective relationships on different levels in the organization
  • Able to show resilience in a high stress, high pressure environment (e.g. escalations)

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end material availability for NPIs by balancing customer service levels, inventory, quality, cost, and risk, while owning and managing the critical path across MDUs to ensure timely time-to-market and ramp-up.
  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional team (engineering, factory, field, suppliers) representatives to proactively identify bottlenecks, prepare decision points, and lead cross-functional actions, together with a team of PLM Product Coordinators.
  • Mobile resources if needed to fulfill the plans.
  • Drive, own and present on Critical Material Escalations (CMEs) to the rest of SS&P and the Factory
  • Assess the need for risk-buys, and prepare and present towards MDU (Module Delivery Unit) and Product Team (KD-E)
  • Identify and manage supply chain risks, acting as the voice of the suppliers within the Project and Delivery Teams.
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Review and solve problems (technical, process, logistic), prioritize, inform stakeholders, and escalate on problems where necessary.
  • Drive Supply Chain KPIs and conduct assessments on material availability, including supplier move-rate capabilities and long-leadtime items
  • Prepare yearly OPEX/CAPEX forecast and manage spend within budget for Supplier NRE (Non-recurring expenses) and tooling&packaging, including monitoring throughout the year
  • Proactively solve QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology, Cost) in collaboration with internal (engineering and procurement/sourcing) and external stakeholders (suppliers)
  • Apply Early Supplier Involvement and Concurrent Engineering methodology to secure the required introduction timeline
  • Report pro-actively on project status to relevant stakeholders including the SS&P Project Lead (SS&P PL), ensuring transparency and timely updates, including activities, milestones and resources
  • Represent SS&P in the AIR (ASML Issue Resolution) triage, managing, driving and prioritizing AIR issues related to SS&P (e.g. End of Life/Supply, Supplier Industrialization, Supplier Transfers, Design to Cost, Re-use).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SS&P function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will play a crucial role in the successful industrialization and introduction of ASML’s cutting-edge product, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, cost efficiency and performance.
