About The Position

Amentum is hiring a Supply Chain Program Manager to support its U.S. government customers. The selected candidate will lead a small supply chain risk management team in tracking and analyzing trends, conducting technology overviews, responding to requests for information, and identifying threats to the global semiconductor supply chain. This position allows for remote work, but may require local semiconductor company and customer site visits with minimal notice. The candidate is expected to live within a reasonable driving distance of the Boston, MA area.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • 10 years of overall experience related to program management/support and supply chain management.
  • 4 years of experience in the microelectronics/semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage, and maintain status on tasking and optimize program output.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully conduct research and write analytical reports.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Amentum’s microelectronics organization with its DoW clients and implement a scalable supply chain research strategy.
  • Lead in the production, review, and editing of the team's responses to requests for information from our government customers.
  • Lead the team to evaluate hardware/semiconductor parts and processes from the intellectual property through to the end user to identify supply chain vulnerabilities. Research may include strategic planning and analysis; demand and capacity analysis; economic analysis; regulatory analysis; safety and risk analysis; system operation performance analysis; and information analysis.
  • Identify and lead initiatives for process improvements in gathering publicly available supply chain data and identifying supply chain vulnerabilities.
  • Manage a small team to conduct complex supply chain risk analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using public records and open-source data.
  • Provide on-site client support, including but not limited to client inquiries, requests for ad hoc reporting, miscellaneous research, and advice on analytic methods.
  • Provide insightful, well-researched analysis of key analytic findings and guidance to clients regarding supply chain risk mitigation.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
