About The Position

As the Supply Chain Parcel Operations Intern, you will help drive transportation performance, customer experience, and operational excellence across Best Buy's Last Mile Delivery network. You'll partner with teams across Supply Chain, Transportation, Operations, Asset Protection, and Analytics to analyze delivery data, uncover insights, and recommend solutions that improve performance and reduce operational risk. From investigating delivery trends and claims data to supporting carrier performance initiatives, you'll gain hands-on experience solving real business challenges that impact customers every day. This internship will also provide you with the opportunity to develop industry-related skills in a professional environment, build your network with Best Buy employees, and explore a wide range of career paths. This internship will be available from June to August 2027. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. This internship does not have the potential to lead to a full-time opportunity. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Internal Best Buy employees: a limited number of company-sponsored summer housing slots are available near corporate headquarters for hybrid/in-person roles for current Best Buy employees.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, graduating between fall 2027 and spring 2030
• Must be able to work in the Richfield, MN corporate office 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00am-5pm (Central Time)
• Must be able to commit to the internship start and end date of 5/31/2027- 8/6/2027

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze large or complex datasets
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
• Ability to identify root causes and develop data-driven recommendations
• Interest in transportation, e-commerce, last-mile delivery, and customer experience in a fast-paced business environment

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation and delivery performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support projects focused on gig delivery network coverage and operational performance.
• Investigate claims, exceptions, and theft-related data to uncover actionable insights.
• Build reporting, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor key performance indicators and support strategic initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations to business partners and leadership.
