About The Position
As the Program Manager of Inventory and Inventory Forecasting, this role is directly accountable for the strategy and optimization of enterprise-wide inventory levels across 2800 clinics, currently representing a $3B spend, to meet patient needs while optimizing inventory levels. This position will be heavily involved in leading the inventory strategy across the enterprise, including process and technology advancements to enhance patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in Utilizing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) Methodology
- Proficiency in Utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Methodology
- IMS (Inventory Management System) Selection, Implementation and Rollout
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory strategies that align with business goals, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet patient needs and minimize supply disruptions.
- Work closely with sourcing and vendor management to ensure the right strategic partnerships for inventory fulfillment, including negotiating with suppliers and supporting clinic operations to maintain optimal stock levels while reducing risk.
- Lead the development and implementation of inventory forecasting models across the enterprise, using historical data and market trends that will be leveraged in supplier negotiations and binding commitments.
- Oversee the enterprise-wide management of inventory, including best practices such as PFEP, MRP, ABC/XYZ analysis, identifying safety stock, excess and obsolete inventory, and leading replenishment processes.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, fill rates, and material availability to track inventory performance and provide regular reports to executive leadership.
