About The Position

The Opportunity Company, Department: Nova Scotia Power, ED Procurement & Real Estate Location: Lakeside, Nova Scotia, Canada Type of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time Closing Date: 20 May 2026 We are looking for a Supply Chain Metrics Analyst to join our ED Procurement & Real Estate team where you would be reporting to the Sr. Manager of Procurement and Supply Chain. Key elements of this role include: Analytical support for strategic initiatives and reporting. Prepare purchase requisitions and receiving for brokerage payments, consignments purchases and freight as required. Import tax compliance, custom brokerage processing and freight coordination. Corporate Card Administration for Nova Scotia Power and Canadian Affiliates. Work with Finance on time sensitive payments for tax and other brokerage payments. Submit supplier requests for master data setup. You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma preferably in Business Analytics with a minimum 3–5-year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite of software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint in particular).
  • Attention to detail with a high accuracy level and can complete multiple tasks in a timely manner ensuring you achieve results.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, a problem-solver and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Oracle Financial experience would be considered an asset.
