Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred
  • 2 years experience in a supply chain role or equivalent education
  • 2 years experience working within an MRP environment or equivalent education, SAP preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including SAP, MS office, Access
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Tracking and following up on PO’s, CoA’s/CoC’s, Certificates of Liability, and SDS’s
  • Maintaining vendor relationships to support daily activities for sourcing materials, which meet the quality and service standards of the organization
  • Vendor performance reporting and measurement
  • Purchasing for MRO items
  • Sales Order analysis and problem solving to reduce backorders and improve order fulfillment
  • Cost avoidance, inventory reduction, and freight savings projects
  • Special projects, as assigned
