About The Position

At Lockheed Martin, the Aeronautics Supply Chain team is focused on delivering innovative, affordable, and agile solutions. This team plays a crucial role in every product and service, enabling customers to achieve extraordinary feats. The role involves leveraging problem-solving, creativity, and data to address industry challenges. The Subcontract Administrations team within Global Supply Chain is seeking a specialist to develop and execute contractual relationships with suppliers. This fast-paced role will involve tackling shortages, developmental issues, and resolving complex supplier performance issues. The specialist will contribute to the company's bottom line through cost control, negotiation, and ensuring on-time delivery. The role also includes serving as a consultant to management, providing guidance on team objectives, overseeing operational aspects of projects, and acting as a liaison between project management, planning, project teams, and line management. Responsibilities include reviewing project and budget status, managing schedules, preparing status reports, assessing project issues, developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals, and establishing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervening in problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Supply Chain Workflow experience or education.
  • Experience with Project Based Management.
  • Experience with working with Functional Stakeholders supporting Global Supply Chain.
  • Experience with SAP (ERP Systems).
  • Effective written/verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
  • Requires a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university.
  • Experience with Global Supply Chain Risk and Opportunities.
  • Experience with JIRA/Tableau.
  • Familiar with Material Cost Forecasting.
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities
