About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Warehouse Manager for its new Salt Lake City Manufacturing Facility. This role will lead all warehouse activities, driving the manufacturing warehouse organization to world-class status through continuous improvement. The position involves ensuring safety leadership, operational excellence aligned with factory KPIs, inventory integrity, continuous improvement initiatives, strategic budgeting, talent acquisition, and leading the Oracle implementation for the warehouse. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Eight years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse management role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle.
  • Ability to work 100% on-site.
  • Ability to travel extensively to Los Angeles for training during the initial months of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and enforce an environment of uncompromising safety.
  • Plan, direct, and synchronize the full lifecycle of warehouse functions (inbound receiving, strategic putaway, lean picking, and line-side delivery).
  • Ensure 100% alignment with factory KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost) and shipment revenue targets.
  • Implement systems-driven management of inventory with a goal of 99.9%+ accuracy, including robust cycle counting programs and rigorous WMS discipline.
  • Identify, champion, and execute long-term CI initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma) both in the warehouse and site operations.
  • Develop and implement the departmental OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
  • Serve as the chief architect of the Salt Lake City warehouse team, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding a high-performance team from the ground up.
  • Serve as the onsite champion and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the transition from the legacy WMS to Oracle, partnering with IT and Supply Chain teams.
