About The Position

Weber Manufacturing Technologies Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain function. This role ensures the efficient flow of materials, products, and information from suppliers through production and delivery. The Supply Chain Manager will play a critical part in supporting operational performance, cost control, and customer satisfaction across diverse manufacturing environments, including tooling operations, nickel processing, and fiberglass door system production. This position also provides leadership and coordination to the current supply chain team, including Buyers, Logistics Administration, and drivers. Success requires balancing the unique material, vendor, and planning requirements of multiple business streams while maintaining efficiency, quality, and continuity of supply.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics leadership role
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments with diverse material inputs preferred
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Business Central experience an asset)
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and day-to-day support to the supply chain team.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Production, Operations, Finance, and Sales to ensure alignment between supply chain activities and organizational priorities.
  • Ensure alignment between procurement, logistics, and operational priorities.
  • Support workload coordination and problem-solving across the team.
  • Foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, structure, and support to enable team success.
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Support material planning across all divisions of the business.
  • Monitor demand forecasts and align procurement and production planning accordingly.
  • Develop and track supplier performance metrics to ensure quality, reliability, and alignment with operational needs.
  • Identify supply risks across specialized materials and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers supporting raw materials for fiberglass production, specialized metals and chemical inputs for nickel processing, and tooling components and technical materials.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, negotiations, and supplier partnerships while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Build strong supplier partnerships across both standard and highly technical supply categories.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality and reliability.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels across varied material types and lead times.
  • Monitor and manage inventory turnover and accuracy, ensuring optimal stock levels, reducing excess or obsolete materials, and supporting production continuity.
  • Balance availability of specialized inputs with cost and storage considerations.
  • Minimize excess and obsolete inventory while ensuring production continuity.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics coordination.
  • Support routing, scheduling, and efficiency of delivery operations.
  • Ensure timely movement of materials and finished goods.
  • Partner with logistics and driver teams (internal/external) to improve delivery performance.
  • Manage logistics costs while maintaining on-time delivery and service level goals, balancing efficiency with operational reliability.
