About The Position

The Supply Chain Manager leads the end-to-end supply chain function, overseeing sourcing, supplier performance, purchasing, and risk management to build a resilient and scalable supply base. This role owns the supply chain strategy, drives supplier selection and development, and ensures material availability, cost control, and data accuracy in NetSuite. The position requires a hands-on leader who develops the team, partners closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing, and drives continuous improvement in a precision fabrication manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including sourcing, purchasing, inventory, and supplier management.
  • Experience in a precision fabrication manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold cross-functional supply chain teams accountable.
  • Deep experience in global strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supplier qualification, negotiation, and performance management.
  • Experience managing supplier performance using DPM (defects per million) and OTD (on-time delivery) metrics.
  • Strong supplier negotiation skills, including contract and pricing negotiation.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP for purchasing, data management, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools for analysis, reporting, and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills to support planning and decision-making.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications and apply them to sourcing and supplier decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold the Supply Chain team accountable for performance, development, and adherence to core values.
  • Own the end-to-end supply base, including supply and sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and overall supplier portfolio management.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including China+1 initiatives, to build a resilient and scalable global supplier network.
  • Lead supplier qualification, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management to support cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Establish and maintain supplier scorecards, audits, and corrective action programs to measure and improve performance.
  • Partner with Quality to ensure suppliers meet Engineering-specified defect-per-million (DPM) requirements for incoming parts.
  • Manage supplier performance against on-time delivery (OTD) and quality metrics, driving continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Own purchasing systems and day-to-day purchasing execution to ensure consistent material availability.
  • Oversee lead time management, cost control, and contract alignment across the supply base.
  • Ensure ERP data accuracy in NetSuite, including item, supplier, pricing, and lead time information.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing to resolve supplier quality issues and maintain technical alignment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate supply-side risks, including capacity constraints, geopolitical exposure, and single-source dependencies.
  • Own external constraint removal to protect production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to align sourcing decisions with product and process requirements.
  • Use data, analytics, and forecasting to support demand planning, inventory management, and sourcing decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes, tools, and workflows to support growth in semiconductor and AI-related manufacturing demands.
  • Champion a high-performance culture within the supply chain team, emphasizing accountability, transparency, and results.
