About The Position

SIC Recycling Inc. is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to own the flow of materials across our operation — freight coordination, internal inventory, and external inventory at partner and customer locations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving logistics puzzles, building strong relationships with carriers and vendors, and keeping a busy operation running smoothly day to day. Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, freight coordination, inventory management, or warehouse operations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — you don’t let things slip through the cracks
  • Solid communication and problem-solving skills, especially with vendors and carriers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in recycling, manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industry
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Background working with shipping platforms or TMS tools
  • Vendor relationship-building experience

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
  • Track shipments end-to-end and proactively communicate status, delays, and resolutions
  • Review bills of lading, packing slips, and freight invoices for accuracy
  • Build strong relationships with carriers and freight partners; help drive cost and service improvements over time
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across daily operations
  • Run cycle counts, reconciliations, and routine inventory checks
  • Investigate variances, damages, and shipping discrepancies and drive them to resolution
  • Plan replenishment to avoid shortages and overstock
  • Track and coordinate materials held at vendor, partner, and customer locations
  • Work directly with external stakeholders on stock levels, returns, and movement of material
  • Maintain clear visibility and reporting on off-site inventory
  • Partner with operations, purchasing, warehouse, and accounting to keep workflow tight
  • Surface bottlenecks early and recommend practical process improvements
  • Keep clean records and reporting for operational reviews
