About The Position

The Structural Castings Team is looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for driving overall quality, cost, and delivery assurance processes to ensure product delivery and customer satisfaction. This leadership position requires superior communication and analytical skills. The role of the Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is both exciting & challenging. This position requires exceptional critical thinking skills & the ability to build efficient working relationships across the many P&W functional groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent with 10 years of experience or an Advanced degree (MS/MBA) with 7 years of experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Extensive delivery assurance experience and ability to mitigate risk

Responsibilities

  • Leadership of a team of Account Specialists
  • Supplier relationships: delivery and quality performance, cost and inventory management, Line of Balance (LOB), business reviews, underperforming supplier reviews, customer satisfaction.
  • Purchase order execution / product delivery: on time order placement, billing adjustments, tooling requirements, negotiation / cost reduction.
  • Raytheon code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, P&W procurement manual, standard work, transition Standard work, and other areas of compliance
  • Training and mentorship along the established role journey
  • Actively working with PWPR management and buyers on timely order quotation/placement and delivery assurance functions.
  • Interaction with the Regional Office personnel, Supplier Quality Assurance Representatives (SQAR’s), MCL, ESA, Continuous Improvement Specialists, & the GWS “Buyers & Planners” providing procurement & materials management for the commodities.
  • Coordination with Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO), Integrated Program Management Teams (IPMT), and Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT) as well as the Command Center and Engine Center.
  • Ownership of part delivery commitment and execution
  • Collaboration with strategic sourcing
  • Leadership of cross functional teams in support of cost, quality, and delivery metrics
  • Use CORE tools to improve EH&S, quality, delivery, financial, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
