About The Position

Join us in scaling the next generation of optical technology. Cisco’s Optics Operations team powers the global internet by managing the end-to-end lifecycle of optical transceivers. As part of the NPI team, you will work with a cross-functional Operations team, as well as partner with the Engineering and external suppliers and partners. The NPI Supply Chain Program Manager leads and coordinates all supply chain activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI). This role ensures supply chain readiness for new product launches, manages material availability, and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful product ramp-up and introduction to production.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain management in technology and/or manufacturing industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Business and/or relevant.
  • 4+ years experience in NPI Supply Chain
  • Previous program management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead NPI planning activities to ensure timely and efficient introduction of new products into the supply chain.
  • Coordinate with Product Development, Procurement, Engineering teams and Manufacturing Partners to align supply chain readiness with product launch schedules.
  • Monitor and manage material availability for prototype builds and production ramp-up, identifying and mitigating risks related to component sourcing and supply constraints.
  • Communicate daily with business partners and program teams to address supply chain issues, update status, and close action items.
  • Utilize supply chain execution tools and systems to manage work orders and non-standard processes related to NPI.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in NPI processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
  • Develop and maintain detailed NPI supply chain plans, including bill of materials (BOM) assessments and alternate sourcing strategies.
  • Monitor cost targets and margin management by working with suppliers and internal customers to optimize cost structures.
