This role drives the end-to-end supply chain strategy for New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring successful product launches at the right cost, capacity, and capability. The NPI Supply Chain Manager leads the supply chain workstream for new product launches and product transfers, ensuring materials, capacity, and supply base readiness from development builds through commercialization. They serve as the primary supply chain point of contact at the Plymouth site, partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Operations, Procurement Engineering, Quality, and Service teams. The role involves developing and executing ramp-up and launch strategies that align demand, manufacturing capacity, and supplier capability to achieve cost of goods sold (COGS), service, and growth targets, as well as identifying risks across the order-to-fulfillment cycle, driving mitigation plans, and providing data-driven recommendations to leadership. The position also influences continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen processes, system readiness, and compliance in a highly regulated environment, with approximately 10% travel.
