About The Position

TAT Technologies is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Manager to support and manage day-to-day Supply Chain Operations at its Greensboro site, a Center of Excellence for Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and landing gear MRO services and aircraft component leasing solutions. The role combines leadership with active daily execution of supply chain and inventory functions, supporting procurement, supplier engagement, and material control in a fast-paced MRO environment. The manager helps ensure the timely flow of aircraft components, tooling, and repair services while supporting strict turnaround times and FAA/EASA regulatory compliance. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Director. The Supply Chain Manager works closely with the Supply Chain Director and cross-functional teams to keep material readiness aligned with operational needs, including unexpected changes in work scope. The role includes managing purchasing activities, expediting critical parts, maintaining accurate purchase order data, tracking overdue orders, and providing regular updates on material shortages, projects, and critical actions. The position also supports supply chain readiness improvement and accountability through regular metrics reviews. Candidates must be able to balance departmental management with urgent, hands-on daily tasks. ITAR background check compliance is required. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of industry experience.
At least 5 years of aerospace supply chain experience, specifically in an MRO shop, heavy maintenance facility, or aerospace manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of aviation quality standards, including AS9100, and airworthiness documentation requirements.
Proficiency in MRO/ERP software systems and strong analytical capability.
Strong prioritization skills to balance departmental management with urgent, hands-on daily tasks.
Compliance with an ITAR background check.
Proven and effective leadership traits.

Nice To Haves

APICS/ASCM certification.
Experience with Quantum Control MRO/ERP software.

Responsibilities

Work with the Supply Chain Director to ensure daily Supply Chain activities are completed accurately and on time.
Follow through on assigned Supply Chain projects with accountability and responsibility.
Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders, tracking vendor deliveries, and resolving urgent supply chain bottlenecks.
Collaborate daily with Production, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service to align material readiness with operational needs.
Check in frequently with Operations to stay aligned on inputs and unexpected work-scope changes.
Prepare for and attend Supply Chain and Operations meetings requiring Supply Chain representation.
Maintain the Material Shortage file and provide daily updates on parts status and solutions to the Supply Chain Director and Operations Leadership.
Review purchase order data for accuracy and age, and engage suppliers weekly on past-due orders under the Supply Chain Director's guidance.
Provide the Supply Chain Director with regular status updates on assigned projects and critical actions.
Conduct weekly Supply Chain metrics reviews with the Supply Chain Director and Supply Chain team, fostering discussion and accountability to improve supply chain readiness.
