About The Position

ACCRETECH SBS, Inc., a world leader in automatic balancing and process control solutions for grinding machines, is seeking an experienced, results-driven Supply Chain Manager. Based at the company’s Portland headquarters, this role oversees and optimizes end-to-end supply chain and purchasing activities, drives supply chain efficiency, manages vendor relationships, and aligns production with customer demand. The position combines tactical execution—including purchase order management and ERP data integrity—with strategic problem-solving to foster a lean, continuous-improvement culture. The manager monitors supplier and production performance, plans material requirements, executes purchasing activities, and works closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance. The role also supports incoming inspection and implements improvements across purchasing and inventory processes. Candidates must live within commuting distance of the Portland, Oregon headquarters; relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

At least 4 years of progressive experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and relevant certifications such as APICS-CSCP.
Located within commuting distance of the Portland, Oregon headquarters; relocation assistance is not provided.
Proficiency with manufacturing ERP software; hands-on experience with ECI M1 is highly sought.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities, execute complex workflows, and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all organizational levels.
Good judgment, commitment to supply chain ethics, and ability to make timely, sound decisions.
Flexible, innovative team player willing to work with constantly changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Monitor purchase order deliveries and mitigate supply chain disruptions that could threaten production timelines.
Drive supply chain problem-solving and formal escalations when supplier deliveries, lead times, or part quality do not meet standards.
Maintain accurate, current production schedules, lead times, and inventory data in the ECI M1 ERP system.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality Assurance on schedule creation, progress updates, and corrective action recommendations.
Establish, monitor, and report KPIs for supplier performance, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Analyze historical inventory and manufacturing data to develop material requirement projections and demand planning models.
Execute purchase orders for assigned component classes, raw materials, and assembly items to support production schedules.
Identify, document, and implement process improvements in purchasing and inventory.
Support incoming inspection to ensure delivered materials meet engineering and quality standards.
Perform other related duties assigned by management.
