About The Position

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager, to be accountable for Demand Planning & Inventory Management at Canada Pooch. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this role will act as a key partner across Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams. You will own inventory health, demand planning, and packaging operations, ensuring optimal stock levels, efficient purchasing decisions, and seamless product availability across all channels. Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, and demand planning, preferably within a B2C e-commerce environment.
  • Experience managing SKU-level inventory and demand planning processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and build forecasting models.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Ability to present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Review and manage forecasts across all channels, including Retail, E-commerce, and Amazon.
  • Build and own/manage a demand planning model.
  • Recommend seasonal purchases (Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer).
  • Recommend non-seasonal (i.e. harness/collar/leash & toys) replenishment purchases based on demand trends and inventory levels.
  • Issue and manage factory Purchase Orders to ensure timely production and delivery.
  • Create and maintain the Master SKU list across all channels.
  • Review and communicate stock positions, including upcoming deliveries, stock availability, and inventory to hold, sell, or mark as ATS.
  • Perform monthly and yearly inventory reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Manage donations and disposals of inventory in alignment with company policies.
  • Conduct ad hoc inventory and sales analysis to support business decisions.
  • Manage packaging replenishment orders through E-commerce, Retail, and refurbishment operations.
  • Track and maintain packaging inventory levels to ensure operational continuity.
  • Source and quote new suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and appropriate MOQs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams on packaging updates and rebrands.
  • Partner with Marketing, Design, and Sales teams to develop and execute retail packaging strategies.
