About The Position

The Canadian Supply Chain Manager will successfully lead a team and be responsible for managing and optimizing demand management, supply planning, inventory management, distribution and logistics, digital transformation and customer service for the AP business in Canada.

Requirements

  • A BS degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in supervisory or leadership roles.
  • Experience leveraging technology and AI to drive cost savings, service improvements, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Ability to integrate supply‑chain and data science insights to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Proven experience leading projects end‑to‑end and presenting clear, evidence‑based recommendations to senior management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • A strong track record building, leading, and developing high‑performing teams, including coaching managers.
  • Solid knowledge of supply‑chain analytics and emerging technologies to drive operational improvements.
  • Deep leadership capability and experience managing change to deliver results.
  • A solid understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and practical implementation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a 3–5 year supply chain strategy aligned with AP Canada BU priorities and stakeholder input.
  • Supporting strategic business planning through data-driven supply chain decisions and risk analysis.
  • Identifying supply risks and developing mitigation plans across global, regional, and domestic channels.
  • Leading the Supply Chain team to deliver S&OP, inventory optimization, launches, and supply planning.
  • Negotiating global active-ingredient supply priorities and driving distribution and logistics efficiencies.
  • Building and coaching team skills, fostering high performance, inclusion, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Delegating through direct reports to achieve team goals and maintain supervisory responsibilities.
  • Developing strong internal and external customer relationships and communicating supply situations clearly.
  • Directing warehouse and transportation strategies for CP and Seed units, including Regina site alignment.
  • Overseeing Customer Support processes and streamlining the OTC flow, including automation improvements.
  • Ensuring seamless order visibility and reducing complaints related to invoicing, delays, and damages.
  • Managing product launch activities to implement changes in line with the 3–5 year strategy.
  • Representing Supply Chain on leadership forums and potentially in industry organizations.
  • Driving continuous improvement, digital transformation, and best-practice exchange across units and partners.
