Supply Chain Management Intern
About The Position
The Supply Chain Management Intern will join AWG’s Nebraska Division Support Center operations team for a 10-week summer internship. The role provides direct experience with supply chain management and how products move from suppliers to member retailers. The team helps maintain the flow of goods by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimizing logistics to deliver products on time and at the best possible cost. The internship includes a presentation of the intern’s findings to AWG’s Executive Leadership Team and may offer the possibility of a full-time position.
Requirements
- Be a Supply Chain Management major.
- Have solid communication skills.
- Have strong organization skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, willingness to ask questions, and ability to follow up.
- Show initiative, enthusiasm to learn, and ability to follow direction.
- Commit to a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, 10-week internship and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
- Be able to travel to AWG’s Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri, for the end-of-year presentation.
Nice To Haves
- Junior or senior student status is preferred.
