The Supply Chain Management Associate ensures the proper stocking and delivery of supplies, linen, equipment, and products throughout the hospital. The role includes supply and linen logistics, maintaining stock levels, customer service, receiving and delivering medical supplies and equipment, and tracking durable medical equipment (DME). Successful candidates must undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of materials handling/distribution or customer service experience.
• Undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

• Materials handling/distribution experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform supply and linen logistics duties as assigned.
• Maintain accurate PAR levels in supply rooms, which may include maintaining linen carts and pillows; count and restock items to PAR level.
• Ensure patient-charge labels are created for appropriate products.
• Provide customer service by answering calls within three rings, responding to pages within 10 minutes, and addressing customer requests courteously and professionally.
• Receive, process, and deliver DME, products, and medical supplies to departments within established guidelines.
• Deliver products, packages, ad-hoc supply requests, and supplemental equipment requests to designated delivery areas in requesting departments.
• Track DME accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist the Biomedical Engineering Department with recovery of equipment needing service.
• Complete duties and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel and in accordance with policy and procedure.
