About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 2 or 3) to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. The role involves applying change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions, utilizing Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain, and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders including customer support, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers. The analyst will incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan, coordinate part number attributes, and verify the correct implementation of released engineering BOMs in the material planning system. Responsibilities also include releasing and maintaining orders, documenting and resolving order delinquencies, reporting schedule adherence issues, applying developed solutions to inventory plans, analyzing and dispositioning excess and obsolete inventories, creating schedules for products and services, and coordinating and supporting process improvements. The role works under general supervision.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting deliverables for both internal/external customers across multiple disciplines
  • 1+ year of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system
  • 1+ year of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
