About The Position

The Boeing Company, specifically Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Management Analyst to join their Material Management team in Bridgeton, MO. This role involves applying Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to optimize solutions, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders such as company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers, and customers. The analyst will be responsible for incorporating Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into production plans, coordinating part number attributes, verifying BOM implementation in the material planning system, releasing and maintaining orders, resolving delinquencies, reporting schedule adherence issues, and applying solutions to inventory plans. The position also includes analyzing and resolving inventory discrepancies, physical handling of inventory, creating product and service schedules, and supporting process improvements. The role operates under general supervision.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management
• 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• 1+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control functions
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Supply Chain Management
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control functions

Responsibilities

• Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
• Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
• Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers
• Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan
• Coordinates part number attributes
• Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system
• Releases and maintains orders
• Documents and resolves order delinquencies
• Reports schedule adherence issues
• Applies developed solutions to inventory plans
• Analyzes and resolves inventory discrepancies
• Physical handling of inventory
• Creates schedules for products and services
• Coordinates and supports process improvements
• Works under general supervision
