About The Position

The Covestro Supply Chain & Logistics organization is currently seeking interns for Summer 2027. These positions will be based at our North American headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with opportunities available in the following areas: Transportation & International Operations, Warehousing & Bulk Terminal Operations, Customer Service, International Trade & Compliance, Center of Excellence. As a member of the Supply Chain & Logistics team, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience while supporting the operations that serve Covestro customers across North America and around the world. Throughout Covestro’s summer internship program, you will work closely with experienced Supply Chain & Logistics professionals and contribute to meaningful projects and day-to-day business activities. Interns may also have the opportunity to visit a Covestro production facility and/or warehouse, providing firsthand exposure to our operations and a broader understanding of how our supply chain works from production through delivery to the customer. You will contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives focused on improving our operations, enhancing the customer experience, and supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient movement of products through the supply chain. The internship provides an opportunity to see how Covestro responds to customer needs and manages the flow of products through an increasingly complex global marketplace. The summer internship program will last approximately 12 weeks. Covestro is committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and productive work environment. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Business, Engineering (Industrial or Chemical preferred), or a related field.
  • Completion of Freshman year.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of sophomore year preferred.
  • Prior internship/work experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated PC skills and ability to work within Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including an ability to interact and establish good working relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Project coordination with the ability to be proactive and identify creative, effective technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exposure to SAP through internship or coursework.
