About The Position
Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Intern Candidate will support and participate in the following projects and assignments. Additional duties may be given throughout the internship experience: PURCHASING Daily operative work in our ERP system. Project work using our Supplier Management Portal. Will be part of a project team for development a new monitoring tool. Interaction with our supply partners. LOGISTICS Review shipments and help identify cost‑saving opportunities. Check product information for accuracy in our ERP system. Assist with daily order processing and shipping tasks. Assist with annual quoting of freight contracts. PLANNING Learn how we plan and schedule daily production activities. Help support a team project focused on improving how we balance supply, demand, and inventory.
Requirements
- Successful applicants will be enrolled in a Bachelor Degree program in Supply Chain Management or related major.
- Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment.
