About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Supply Chain Intern to support critical operational workflows across procurement, inventory management, and logistics. This role provides hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment. The intern will partner cross-functionally to drive data-informed decisions, improve process efficiency, and support continuity of supply.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
Effective communication skills with the ability to interface across functional teams
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
Exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments
Familiarity with lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Analyze inventory levels, demand signals, and procurement data to identify gaps and optimization opportunities
Support purchase order tracking, supplier communication, and on-time delivery performance
Assist in maintaining ERP system data integrity (item masters, lead times, vendor records)
Contribute to cycle counts, inventory audits, and variance analysis
Partner with production planning to align material availability with manufacturing schedules
Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs (OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance)
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (lean, process standardization, cost reduction)
Document standard operating procedures and recommend workflow enhancements
