About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Supply Chain Intern to support critical operational workflows across procurement, inventory management, and logistics. This role provides hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain functions within a manufacturing environment. The intern will partner cross-functionally to drive data-informed decisions, improve process efficiency, and support continuity of supply.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interface across functional teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Exposure to manufacturing or distribution environments
  • Familiarity with lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory levels, demand signals, and procurement data to identify gaps and optimization opportunities
  • Support purchase order tracking, supplier communication, and on-time delivery performance
  • Assist in maintaining ERP system data integrity (item masters, lead times, vendor records)
  • Contribute to cycle counts, inventory audits, and variance analysis
  • Partner with production planning to align material availability with manufacturing schedules
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs (OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance)
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (lean, process standardization, cost reduction)
  • Document standard operating procedures and recommend workflow enhancements
