About The Position

The Supply Chain Summer Intern supports the Supply Chain and Operations teams by assisting with projects, data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and daily operational activities across our HVAC manufacturing and distribution network. This role provides hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, purchasing, and logistics in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field such as Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Data Analytics, or related field
Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear analytical approaches
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer needs.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral or written form.
Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Regularly required to sit; walk and stand; use hands, handle, or feel; and required to speak, read, and hear English.
Frequently is required to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Assist with supply chain and operations projects, including planning, coordination, and milestone tracking
Collect, organize, validate, and analyze data related to inventory, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance
Develop reports, dashboards, and visual summaries to support decision-making
Support documentation of workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job aids
Participate in warehouse observations to identify opportunities for efficiency, safety, and accuracy improvements
Conduct research and benchmarking to support supply chain initiatives
Provide administrative and operational support for purchasing, logistics, and warehouse functions
Attend team meetings, document action items, and follow up on assigned tasks
Maintain accurate records, files, and project documentation
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including warehouse, manufacturing, and procurement
Present project results and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship
