About The Position

This role is part of the Augusta National Fellowship Program, a 10-month, paid post-graduate program based onsite in Augusta, Georgia. The program provides Fellows with hands-on professional experience and meaningful opportunities to contribute within their respective areas while gaining exposure to Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament. Housing assistance is available for this Fellowship. The Supply Chain Fellowship provides a variety of practical learning experiences through scheduled job rotations within the Augusta National Golf Club Supply Chain program. The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Fellow is to take direction from and provide support to the Procurement, Warehousing, and Logistics staff within Supply Chain operations while maintaining the strict confidentiality of all Club business. This fellowship provides a unique opportunity to work across different functions within the supply chain operation, allowing you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end processes involved in delivering products to customers efficiently. This position offers exposure to real-world challenges and projects that contribute to the organization's success. A highly motivated individual will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain meaningful mentorship.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math skills
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Outlook
  • Currently enrolled as a senior or a recent graduate of an accredited college or university, preferably with a degree or expected degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 0 - 2 years’ work experience or coursework in supply chain principles, logistics, procurement, inventory management, operations, and related topics is highly beneficial.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully complete the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program.

Responsibilities

  • Proper identification and labeling of products in accordance with ANGC standards.
  • Pick and sort materials for highly efficient delivery to destination (pick/pack/ship)
  • Perform inventory control in accordance with ANGC supply chain policies.
  • Operate all material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping in accordance with ANGC supply chain policies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.
  • Unload trucks and containers using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of club operations at all times
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Perform all other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
