About The Position

This role is part of the Augusta National Fellowship Program, a 10-month, paid post-graduate program based onsite in Augusta, Georgia. The program provides Fellows with hands-on professional experience and meaningful opportunities to contribute within their respective areas while gaining exposure to Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament. Housing assistance is available for this Fellowship. The Community Impact Fellow will help support the implementation of Augusta National’s Community Impact strategic plan. In this role, the Fellow assists the Community Impact team by serving as a liaison between the Tournament and the Club with key community partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and general knowledge of the city of Augusta and the Masters Tournament.

Requirements

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work productively and collaboratively as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A strong attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, demonstrated through active listening, written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to align new ideas and strategies with broad business priorities.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Currently enrolled as a senior or a recent graduate of an accredited college or university, preferably with a degree or expected degree in Business, Community Development, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Relations or related fields of studies.
Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully complete the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program.

Nice To Haves

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Project management experience preferred.
Experience in community relations is preferred.
Deep understanding of the city of Augusta and the Masters Tournament is preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with various departments and external community partners to assist in implementing the Community Impact strategic plan.
Assists the Senior Director of Community Impact and Community Impact Manager in promoting programs for ANGC and its employees to play an active role in making Augusta a better place to live (i.e., Employee Giving Program, Month of Service, and Volunteer Opportunities).
Assists the Community Service Committee with special projects.
Supports the process of requesting, packaging, and distributing credentials for guests of the Tournament.
Coordinates with ANGC’s Communications team to appropriately amplify the actions and investments of the Club.
Remains well informed of current research, activities, and trends as they relate to ANGC’s community impact interests.
Takes notes in internal and external meetings.
Performs other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job.
