About The Position

Design and optimize end-to-end supply chain solutions to improve operational efficiency, service, cost, and customer outcomes. Analyze freight flows, lane density, carrier utilization, and shipment patterns to identify optimization opportunities. Develop continuous move, backhaul, pool distribution, consolidation, and network engineering strategies. Support transportation procurement initiatives through network modeling and scenario analysis. Evaluate mode optimization opportunities across truckload, LTL, intermodal, parcel, and dedicated transportation. Develop enterprise-wide KPIs supporting Operations, Carrier Management, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership. Build automated reporting solutions to provide real-time visibility into operational performance. Create predictive and descriptive analytics supporting strategic decision-making. Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational opportunities, implementing process enhancements, and measuring business performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Carrier Management, Procurement, Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Technology to develop and implement enterprise supply chain solutions.

Requirements

  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills, familiarity with statistics or other analytical techniques
  • Knowledge of visualizations tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or other BI tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of client service focus and strong communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and conceptualization skills
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Data Analyst, or Supply Chain Engineer
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
