About The Position

KONE is seeking a Supply Chain Test Engineer for their Americas operations in Allen, TX. This role involves leading production test system development, supporting new product launches, and driving manufacturing test innovation. The ideal candidate will manage internal stakeholders, partner with global teams to implement standardized test solutions, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment balancing production support, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement. The position requires strong skills in NI TestStand, LabVIEW, automated test architectures, manufacturing systems, and test data analysis, along with expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, integration, and test fixture challenges to improve quality and yield, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, cybersecurity, and documentation standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive and successful experience in production or manufacturing test engineering, supporting electromechanical products in a factory or supply chain environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and sustaining automated production test systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of functional testing for electromechanical products, including hardware, software, and system-level integration.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), pilot builds, and production readiness activities.
  • Skillful with NI TestStand, LabVIEW, automated test architectures, manufacturing systems, and test data analysis tools.
  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, integration, and test fixture challenges.
  • Commitment to ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, cybersecurity, and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Leading development, implementation, and strategic alignment of production testing systems supporting unit-area factory and area products.
  • Ensuring area production testing requirements are effectively developed and deployed while maintaining full compliance with global test standards and framework.
  • Serving as the bridge between Global Production Test Development team and unit-area manufacturing, driving standardized yet regionally optimized test solutions for current production and new product introductions.
  • Analyzing production test performance and implementing improvements to increase reliability, uptime, and first-pass yield.
  • Developing technical documentation, training materials, and best practices while mentoring technicians and production teams.
