About The Position

The Senior Supply Chain Engineer will support the implementation, optimization, and effective use of enterprise systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, warehouse management systems (WMS), and internal planning or reporting tools. This role involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing cost components to support operational and financial decision-making. The engineer will ensure warehouse and operational processes comply with established quality, food safety, safety, and operational standards, including adherence to internal audits and applicable regulatory or quality requirements like GMP and HACCP practices. Additionally, the position requires developing and maintaining operational dashboards and performance metrics to support production planning, logistics execution, and data-driven decision-making. The Senior Supply Chain Engineer will lead cross-functional coordination between manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, planning, and finance teams to ensure effective execution of production and shipment plans. They will also provide data-driven recommendations to management to support operational strategy, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance targets across warehouse and supply chain operations. The role includes developing and maintaining analytical and operational tools using spreadsheet-based automation (including Excel VBA macros) to support warehouse operations, such as label generation, outbound traceability, data capture, and the creation of reports and KPI dashboards for operational performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's (U.S. or foreign equivalent) degree in Engineering, Operations, or similar field.
  • 2 years of experience in Manufacturing in the Food/Beverage industry.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Developing and maintaining warehouse execution solutions, including label GS1 generation with VBA Macros or similar, outbound traceability, KPI tracking, and dashboard development using structured operational data.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Developing and maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and structured operational data to support inventory, manufacturing, and operations.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Analyzing and reporting on supply chain, warehouse, and manufacturing data using structured datasets to support operational planning and decision-making.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Developing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing cost components, including analysis of material usage, tolling costs, and operational cost impacts.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Supporting and participating in the implementation, optimization, and ongoing use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related enterprise systems.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Applying process improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma principles, to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and service levels.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Ensuring processes comply with established quality, food safety, safety, and operational standards, including adherence to internal audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Working cross-functionally with operations, warehouse, logistics, planning, quality, and finance teams to evaluate processes and support end-to-end operational performance.
  • Two (2) years’ experience with: Leveraging Microsoft productivity and reporting tools (such as Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and related automation and BI tools) to support operational analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical capability to assess operational and inventory data, identify trends and constraints, and support strategic and tactical supply chain decision-making.
