About The Position

Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Manager or Supervisor, this role executes and administers a coordinated lean supply support system that operates efficiently and meets the needs of the clinical areas within OSUWMC. The position involves stocking and managing supply inventory levels in clinical areas, serving as the liaison between the Distribution & Logistics Team and all clinical departments. It also includes maintaining records such as dates of requisitions, delivery verification, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, implant pricing, and ensuring accurate tracking of supply data like back orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers. The role ensures the implementation and maintenance of the two-bin Kanban system and maintains all required documents for accurate requisitioning. Demonstrates an effective combination of analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • High school graduate with at least one year of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrates an effective combination of analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory control experience in a hospital setting preferred.
