About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to lead complex cost estimates for industrial facilities maintenance and infrastructure projects. This role integrates estimating and supply chain coordination to ensure accurate budgets, reliable material planning, and seamless execution.

Requirements

  • Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, supply chain, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cost estimating, supply chain coordination, procurement, or industrial project support.
  • Proficiency with RSMeans or similar estimating software; familiarity with ERP or supply chain management systems; proficient in MS Office.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting cost and supply chain data to support decision-making.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across engineering, procurement, finance, and other departments.
  • Knowledge of supply chain regulations, compliance standards, and vendor management practices.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate with vendors, and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi‑discipline quantity take-offs and develop accurate cost estimates for industrial operations and infrastructure projects.
  • Analyze labor, materials, equipment, productivity, market conditions, escalation, and risk to support reliable ROM and budget development.
  • Create clear, traceable Basis of Estimate documentation, including assumptions and supporting analysis.
  • Manage multiple concurrent estimates with high accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Apply RSMeans proficiency and contribute to improving estimating tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to validate scope, schedule, and alignment.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to manage orders, deliveries, quotes, technical issues, and discrepancies such as RMA’s.
  • Support purchase planning by working with project managers and engineers to develop ROMs and submit work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies governing supply chain activities.
  • Analyze supply chain data, prepare management reports, and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Resolve supply chain issues such as delays, shortages, and quality problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
