About The Position

The Supply Chain Coordinator supports the site's daily production, inventory, and logistics operations, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager. This role serves as a key point of coordination between production, warehouse, traffic/shipping, and customer care — ensuring accurate inventory records, timely fulfillment of production and transfer orders, and reliable outbound shipping. The Coordinator also provides backup support for traffic and shipping scheduling functions as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of experience in production support, inventory, warehouse, or logistics/traffic coordination, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/inventory systems (e.g., NAV/Business Central) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple daily deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for cross-department coordination (production, customer care, lab, shipping).
  • Ability to work early morning hours (7:30 AM production meeting) and adapt to daily production schedule changes.

Responsibilities

  • Enter production orders from the previous day's 2nd shift (consume raw materials and post finished goods from the prior day).
  • Monitor supply care vs. perpetual inventory; update inventory levels for all raw oils in NAV weekly.
  • Process fill sheets for the next production day in each production bay.
  • Attend the 7:30 AM production meeting (mandatory).
  • Create and review fill sheets with the Supply Chain Manager; email to production supervisors and lab so each department knows the day's plan.
  • Coordinate sample orders from entry through shipment, communicating timelines to Customer Service Representatives based on material availability.
  • Print production orders and packer filler sheets, including tank assignments.
  • Create and enter transfer orders (Napor to Carnegie) based on raw material needs for upcoming production.
  • Enter finished production into NAV as it is completed, including packaging used.
  • Process warehouse receipts of inventoried items such as packaging (enter POs into NAV).
  • Plan re-work inventory, including use of the re-work tool for new production.
  • Send meeting invites for training sessions and new hire introductions.
  • Manage Cintas uniform orders/changes and general plant supply needs.
  • Follow up on and investigate inventory variances.
  • Print next day's warehouse pick sheets to the Head Shipper, confirming product availability.
  • Coordinate UPS labels for samples, working with Customer Care on availability.
  • Process transfer orders and post for the local driver to take to Napor.
  • Create the daily schedule for shipping / Jet Report.
  • Schedule LTL shipments for next-day pickup.
  • Obtain freight rate quotes in NAV (contract and rate categories).
  • Plan trailer moves for the yard with the local driver.
  • Post bulk shipments when the primary traffic coordinator is off.
  • Update the bulk schedule when new orders are placed.
  • Create warehouse pick, bulk loading notification, and wash ticket for assigning seals.
  • Scan Bills of Lading (BOLs) to Customer Care at end of day.
