About The Position

Do you enjoy staying organized, managing details, and supporting a fast-paced automotive operation? If you have clerical experience and an interest in automotive services or fleet operations, join the Avis Budget Group team and play an important role in keeping our vehicles serviced, supplied, and ready for customers. Your work helps ensure our maintenance and repair teams have what they need—directly supporting vehicle availability and a positive customer experience. What You’ll Do: You will provide clerical and administrative support to our vehicle maintenance, auto body damage, and fleet services operations. This includes managing inventory records, processing purchase and repair orders, handling invoices, and supporting accounts payable and receivable activities. Depending on location, you may order automotive parts, tools, and shop supplies for a fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands. You will also answer phones, communicate with internal teams and external vendors, and assist with onboarding, training coordination, and general administrative support for on-site leadership. By helping ensure parts, supplies, and documentation are accurate and timely, your work supports efficient repairs, reduced downtime, and reliable vehicles for our customers.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Willingness to occasionally work outdoors or near a mechanical shop with moderate noise levels
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Minimum of 1 year of office or clerical experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
  • Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
  • Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
