This role is responsible for leading and managing site Supply Chain CIM (Continuous Improvement and Methods) activities, deploying Valeo's supply chain standards, guidelines, and methodologies. This includes managing shop floor scheduling, supplier logistics, and physical flows. The position also ensures supply chain support for new project introductions and engineering changes, validating specifications and requirements, and proposing solutions to optimize service levels, minimize costs and inventories, and accelerate physical flows. The role involves participating in FDPR runs, performing logistics FMEA, defining component and finished goods flows, and supporting production start-ups. The Supply Chain CIM Engineer is responsible for project supply chain issues for a period after SOP and leads continuous improvement initiatives in transportation, packaging, labeling, internal flows, and scheduling processes. They will also define receiving, line feeding, and shipping processes, participate in VPS workshops, lead the logistics VPS committee, and contribute to the -30 plan and labor productivity plan.
