Supports management/senior leadership to incorporate process and quality improvements in Intel's supply chain and logistics strategy. Supports product or long-range plan development and program ramps by defining next-generation methodology capabilities to support Intel's supply chain roadmap. Explores and benchmarks emerging technology in the industry. Contributes to Intel's future technology definition and requirements. Highlights gaps between roadmap strategy, manufacturing capability, and market demands and recommends solutions to address those gaps. Establishes control standards, determines KPIs, monitors performance against targets, and drives root cause analysis for supplier related installation and qualification of equipment to support any technology ramp. Drives supplier improvements on quality, reliability, yield, and cost. Maintains quality standards and systems, creating relevant specifications to minimize variability and subjectivity to align with operational capability requirements. Leads quality excursion management and drives failure mode analysis with suppliers. As the Supply Chain Engineer in the Ramp Enablement team, you will be responsible for but not limited to: Engagement with the Area Coordinator (AC) on supplier-related tasks, owning ROW 5 letter CEID standard durations for new tools across Tier 0, Tier 1, and Tier 2, ensuring alignment to established scheduling standards, duration validation and schedule accuracy for reuse tools, ensuring suppliers complete the Vendor Information Form (VIF) and upload documentation no later than seven weeks prior to PFS, actively tracking PAS compliance, tracking supplier performance against SQ durations, including monitoring AIO start and finish accuracy in coordination with fab equipment coordinators, validating supplier performance in AIO for all tools when a schedule miss is attributed to a Vendor driver, serving as the point of contact for supplier escalations where activities risk missing key milestones (SET SL2SOF and SQF), leveraging ServiceNow as the system of record for escalation tracking, leading or supporting a team of four focused on Tier 1 suppliers, including facilitating supplier run IQ Management meetings (Supplier + Construction: FCS + GO IQ) to review schedule impacts, supplier performance, and to remove execution roadblocks, driving Supplier Management VF alignment across all tools, incorporating required agenda content and ensuring cross functional alignment, managing MQI activities across all tools by assessing 8D corrective actions and tracking closure of any IQ related MQIs, owning strategic IQ labor planning for new tools, producing a monthly platform level labor waterfall covering all programs; primary data source is Power BI, acting as the requestor for VF realignment related to vendor resourcing when required to support shifting process priorities, and supporting vendor acceleration activities by identifying accelerated tools, validating supplier resourcing against purchase orders, and ensuring durations in P3 are updated to reflect acceleration impacts.
