About The Position

Valeo is a global tech company designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent mobility. As a Supply Chain CIM Engineer, you will lead and manage the site's Supply Chain CIM activities. This includes deploying Valeo's supply chain standards, guidelines, working methods, methodologies, and tools across the site and to suppliers. You will oversee shop floor scheduling, supplier logistics guidelines, and physical flows (receiving, storage, shipping, packaging, labeling). The role also involves ensuring supply chain activities support new project introductions and engineering changes, validating supply chain specifications during project milestones, and approving supplier and project VRF requirements. You will support project and purchasing teams by proposing solutions to maximize service levels, minimize logistic costs and inventories, and accelerate physical flows. Additionally, you will participate in FDPR runs, implement corrective actions, perform logistics FMEA, define component and finished goods flows, and support planning and scheduling teams during production start-ups. You will be responsible for project supply chain issues until phase 4 (6 months after SOP) and lead continuous improvement actions in transportation, packaging, labeling, internal flows, scheduling processes, and receiving/feeding/shipping processes. Participation in VPS workshops and the logistics VPS committee, as well as active participation in the -30 plan and labor productivity plan, are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related field
  • 2 years experience in manufacturing process flow
  • Knowledge of SAP and Google Platform

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the site Supply Chain CIM activities.
  • Deploy all Valeo Supply Chain standards, guidelines, working methods, methodologies and tools in the site and toward suppliers.
  • Ensure all supply chain activities to support new project Introduction or engineering change.
  • Validate the respect of supply chain specifications during all project phases milestones.
  • Validate the requirement options selected in all VRF files for all new suppliers and projects.
  • Support the project and purchasing teams by proposing the best solutions leading to maximizing the service level, minimizing the logistic costs and inventories and accelerating the physical flows from suppliers to customers.
  • Participate in the FDPR runs for supply chain activities, follow and implement all corrective actions identified afterwards.
  • Perform and update the logistics FMEA for new projects.
  • Define components and finished goods’ flows and their storage location.
  • Support the planning and scheduling teams during the start of production for all new products.
  • Responsible for project supply chain issues until phase 4 (6 months after SOP).
  • Lead continuous improvement actions in all supply chain activities in terms of : Transportation organization by optimizing high pick-up frequency, freight and costs; Packaging and labeling specifications and standardization for components and finished goods, small returnable containers deployment; Internal flows by defining and improving material flows and logistics area layouts; Definition and implementation of scheduling process, systems design and improvement to support them; Definition of receiving, line feeding and shipping processes.
