About The Position

The Supply Chain Capacity Analyst is responsible for developing and building a capacity model to highlight supply capacity risks over a rolling 12 to 18 month window and escalating supply capacity risks in support of operations. Develops, builds, and maintains a capacity data model that can be automatically updated against the production schedule. Analyzes current capacity across production suppliers and escalates risks. Program manages capacity improvement projects to ensure on-time implementation of capacity increases across the supply base. Day-to-day contact with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain Planning to develop solutions for capacity issues. Holds regular capacity review meetings with assigned suppliers to report current capacity status and escalate risks. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Supply Chain Capacity team. Builds cross-functional teams and champions continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed cost, quality, and delivery goals. Proactively status and update team on critical supply issues. Ensures the accuracy of demand and part master data within MRP. Executes risk management analysis, taking into consideration past performance data, demand vs. supply, and lead time stack-ups from piece part to integration. Works in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals. Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain capacity analysis.
  • Ability to develop and build capacity models.
  • Skill in analyzing current capacity across production suppliers.
  • Experience in program managing capacity improvement projects.
  • Ability to work with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Experience holding capacity review meetings with suppliers.
  • Skill in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ability to build cross-functional teams and champion continuous improvement.
  • Proactive communication skills for updating teams on critical supply issues.
  • Knowledge of demand and part master data within MRP.
  • Experience in risk management analysis, considering past performance data, demand vs. supply, and lead time stack-ups.
  • Strong team player with ability to work with other functional groups.
